What does it include?
The Family Assistance iPlus Insurance includes a Death and Funeral Expenses policy with a mixed premium .
Who is it for?
This policy is primarily aimed at younger households with responsibilities such as children, mortgages, etc., that need a smaller initial premium to cover their needs in exchange for somewhat higher future cost increases.
You can also take a look at our d'Assistència Familiar iPlus insurance for middle-aged households with few or no responsibilities that can afford an annual premium that will avoid significant premium increases as they grow older.
Guaranteed Healthcare Cover
- Dental Service: you and your family will enjoy a wide range of dental services at no additional cost such as x-rays and an annual teeth cleaning, among other services.
- Medical and Healthcare Services: we offer you significant discounts for accessing the best private medical specialists: gynaecologists, orthopaedists, ophthalmologists, dieticians, etc.
- Second Medical Opinion: for your peace of mind, if you are diagnosed with a serious illness we will arrange for a second assessment by doctors who have national and international prestige.
- Hospitalisation Aftercare: we take care of you when you need it most: we will organise and pay for a Care Plan (housecleaning, meal preparation, health care, private tutors, etc.) after child birth or when you adopt a child or after hospitalisation if complete bed-rest has been prescribed.
- Health and Wellness Services: you will also enjoy access to preferential prices for health and wellness services, including hair removal, cosmetic and beauty treatments, massage, sport facilities and spas, opticians' shops, acupuncture, homeopathic professionals, veterinarians, etc.
Kids' Assistance
Child birth or adopting a child is one of the most important experiences in your life. That's why santalucía wants to be by your side at those first moments, to help you make your daily routine easier. And that's why we want to help you with a birth bonus by opening a ¤300 Savings Plan for the new family member, a first step towards ensuring their future.
You will also have access to Medical Care, with reimbursement of the amounts paid for visits to paediatricians, speech therapists or nutritionists, for ophthalmologic and hearing aid examinations, a visit to a psychologist or a second psychological diagnosis in the event of school failure.
Death
We are never prepared for the departure of a loved one. At santalucía there will be someone at your side, solving problems and taking care of everything. That's why we offer you benefits such as transfers, pension processing, obtaining Civil Status and Last Will and Testament certificates and advice on inheritance, along with funeral services and personalised assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Accident
Anyone could suffer an accident. We always think that it won't happen to us?but what if it does? Are we prepared? What situation would you and your family be in? santalucía has thought about this and offers you, at low cost a:
- Compensation payment of at least ¤10,000 for death or total disability.
- We will add another ¤10,000 to this amount if, in addition, the death was caused by a car accident.
Travel assistance
santalucía has thought of people who travel for pleasure as well as those who travel for business or study; and if you like, you can always add a Travel Assistance benefit to cover:
- Emergency medical expenses abroad.
- Administrative paperwork and security deposits for hospitalisation abroad.

Legal protection
We offer you Comprehensive Legal Protection, that is, a legal protection insurance policy within your policy that will allow you to ring up and ask any questions and receive advice from a lawyer about many issues that may arise from day to day, such as:
- Appealing against all traffic fines.
- When you are not satisfied with the results of a professional's service, for example, a bricklayer, mechanic, clothing alterations, dry cleaning, restaurant or hotel services, removals, etc.
- If you disagree with a company, for example, the system for returning items, if what is received is not what was booked, poor service, etc.
- Problems with lease or sale contracts.
- Work-related concerns due to the misapplication of employment contract conditions (overtime, wages, holidays, etc.), doubts about your collective bargaining agreement and fears of dismissal or Redundancy Schemes.
