Well covered

Our Pet Insurance offers you a series of covers that fully protect you:

Civil liability
This covers the payment of compensation as a result of any damages caused to third parties by the pet and which have have consequences that are personal, material and/or financial damages.
Legal advice and defence for the insured
In cases of civil liability claims, the payment of legal and out-of-court expenses relating to the claim are covered.
Judicial bonds
santalucía pays the amount of the bonds required from the insured as a consequence of an accident protected by the civil liability cover.
Accidents
In the event of an accident, the policy covers: Payment of professional veterinary fees and work. The value of the pet in the event of death.
Theft
Up to 80% of the sum insured is covered if the pet is taken illegitimately by means of actions that involve forcing things or intimidating people .
Loss
Expenses are paid related to placing advertisements in the press or on local radio stations that try to locate the pet. Maximum 180 Euros.
Putting the animal down and disposal of the remains
By means of this cover the Insurer guarantees to pay the Insured any expenses related to having to put the pet down, as well as the expenses related to the disposal of the remains when it is due to the irreversible physical deterioration of the animal due to old age or illness and upon veterinary advice. Maximum 180 Euros.
Telephone helpline
Advice on any aspect related to the pet:
- Information services (hotels that accept pets, adoption and rescue centres, pet clubs, training, hairdressers, shops, etc.)
- Consulting services (trips abroad, veterinary advice, Administration and legal advice procedures).
- Veterinary services (24 hour emergency centres, making appointments for consultations at veterinary centres, access to hospitalization centres in the case of illness or accidents, a second veterinary opinion, preventive advice, consultations, etc.
- Boarding kennels, collecting and transporting pets and home food delivery.

We also offer optional guarantees because they deserve it.

Veterinary assistance expenses due to illness. With this cover, the Insurer guarantees to pay the Insured expenses related to professional veterinary work and fees, such as examinations, x-rays, medicines, surgery, care and stays at clinics when necessary. Maximum 1000 Euros.
Expenses arising from the death of the animal. With this cover the Insurer guarantees to pay the Insured for the expenses incurred for the burial of the insured pet. Maximum 360 Euros.
